Job Summary:
Cleantek is seeking a full time CAD Drafter/Project Engineer for the design of high-powered EV charging sites.
Responsibilities:
- Management and scheduling of land surveys.
- Develop civil, electrical and detail pages ready for engineering review prior to permit submission.
- Monitor projects as they move through design phases and permitting.
- RFI reviews and support.
- Team player, working with in office and remote colleagues.
- Liase with AHJs and utilities.
- Create and present department status reports.
- The position may also require some travel to visit potential EV charging sites to determine layout and site feasibility.
- Develop general internal processes and systems as the Cleantek business accelerates.
- General office admin and assistance to the office manager and executive team.
Experience:
- The candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and possess experience with document control management systems such as BIM360.
Desirables:
- Deploy and administer document control systems for engineering design teams.
- Experience with EV charging infrastructure.
- Experience with general site layouts, demo, grading, structural, electric utility design and electrical single lines is preferable.
- Solar and/or energy storage system experience
Location:
- San Pedro, California.
Travel Required:
- Throughout the state of California (~5 to 10%)
