Cleantek's founder and CEO is an engineer with 20 years of experience of electrical control systems; from power stations and substations, to industrial production process systems.
In 2014, Carl managed engineering and construction projects for high-power DCFC sites and energy storage projects, with Clients such as Tesla. With this experience, he went on to become the Director of Network Development and Operations for Recargo, the developers of the EV charge finder app PlugShare. Carl was responsible for site acquisition, engineering, construction and operation. Projects included the engineering, construction and operation of California's very first high-powered EV charging facilities (capable of up to 350kW) with energy storage. Carl holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering with Honors from Loughborough University (UK) and CA Electrical C-10 license. |
